Job Description

Cerner Corporation is currently seeking a Chiropractor for our on-site health center for a large, local employer in Kansas City, MO. This health center has a proactive, educative approach where employees and their dependents are motivated to adopt healthy lifestyles and practices.

As a Chiropractor, you are a key part of our clinical care team. Your focus will be on physical techniques and therapies to treat and rehabilitate members suffering from disorders and/or injuries of the back or musculoskeletal system. You will work with patients as you conduct exams, develop plans to evaluate and treat injuries as well as educate and counsel them regarding preventive care, medical issues, and the use of prescribed medical treatment. You will perform diagnostic tests and screening evaluations, and you will follow established policies and procedures to work in clinic environment involving possible exposure to potentially hazardous materials and situations that require safety precautions and may include use of personnel protective equipment.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • At least 8 years of total combined higher education and related work experience, including:

    • 1 year direct patient care work experience

    • 7 years of higher education and/or additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job, including:

      • Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree

  • Certified Chiropractor in the state of Missouri

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Expectations

  • Willing to work on a flexible schedule as needed

  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations

  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position

  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned

  • Must currently live in, or near, Kansas City, MO
