Recruit a Chiropractor in California

The state of California contains relatively few Chiropractic Clinics. Due to this low number, recruitment of chiropractors or chiropractic assistants can be difficult and challenging.

When looking at recruitment there are many things you can do in order to make it an easier and simpler a process.

Where to start

Make sure that you provide good detail for a job posting.

Make the title zing! A simple “Chiropractor Wanted” might nicely explain what you’re looking for, but it doesn’t do much to really sell it to a potential candidate.

We recommend you try something a little more attention-grabbing, such as; “Exciting new position for experienced Associate” This does a better job of making it more likely to attract candidates, whilst still providing the same basic message. Even if you don’t think the role is particularly exciting, you’ve still got to inject some sort of enthusiasm into it.

When you come to write the job posting, be sure to get some emotion into it. Our advice would be to use words like “new” and “vibrant” or “bustling” and other words that help build an atmosphere. It’s important to tell the story of your business, this helps make it more interesting to others and more likely to attract the right sort of person.

You need to know who you are after so you can get the job filled long-term. For example; if you’re after someone who would fit into working in a small-town clinic and within a tight-knit community, then make sure you tell them that in the posting.

Conversely, if you’re more interested in a high-volume adjustor, someone who would fit into a larger clinic, one dealing with many more patients, then that needs to be made clear in the wording of the posting.

If you don’t concentrate on this, you’ll likely end up with the wrong type of people applying. Or worse, you’ll end up hiring the wrong person.

Where to post?

Realistically, the most successful place to recruit is online, this is true for most jobs in the modern world, but especially for chiropractors within a large state like California.

Online is the first-place people look when they are looking for a new chiropractic job or when they’re thinking of leaving an existing job. You need to be online with your job posting, somewhere easy to find with good exposure and good online listings.

It can be worth considering the posting of a premium or sponsored listing. These are pushed to the top of search results and as such always capture more attention. As a result, they get more applications and have a wider pool of talent to pick from.
