Associate Chiropractor Position
About the Practice
Nittany Valley Chiropractic & Wellness Center (NVCC) is seeking a motivated and compassionate Associate Doctor of Chiropractic to join our established and welcoming team. Serving the State College, Pennsylvania community since 1986, our practice has built a strong and trusted reputation in the region. State College—home to Penn State University—is a vibrant, centrally located community approximately halfway between Pittsburgh and Philadelphia.
With over 35 years of dedication to patient care, NVCC continues to be a pillar of chiropractic excellence in the region. Our founder and owner, Dr. Roy Love, has been voted State College Magazine’s “Best Chiropractor” for the past nine consecutive years. Our team currently includes three chiropractors, a massage therapist, and an acupuncturist, allowing us to offer comprehensive and collaborative patient care.
We operate from two thriving locations:
State College, PA
Spring Mills, PA (15 miles from State College)
NVCC maintains a strong evidence-based clinical approach, integrating up-to-date research into patient care. Our services include spinal and extremity manipulation, functional assessment, rehabilitative exercise, and modern physical therapy modalities such as traction, electrical stimulation, and ultrasound. We also offer advanced soft tissue techniques including IASTM, cupping, pin-and-stretch, and kinesiology taping.
Recently, we added extracorporeal shockwave therapy (StemWave) to our clinical offerings, and patient outcomes have been exceptionally promising. Additionally, Dr. Love has recently established a working relationship with Penn State Football, opening the door to further sports-related chiropractic opportunities within the university’s athletic programs.
Candidates should possess:
A Doctorate of Chiropractic from an accredited university
Strong functional assessment and motion palpation skills
Proficiency in spinal and extremity manipulation
Interest and involvement in professional development (seminars, certifications, etc.)
A willingness to market and build professional relationships within the community
A desire to live and grow in State College, fostering long-term relationships with patients and staff
Alignment with evidence-based, patient-centered care
Compensation will be discussed during the interview process or upon demonstrated interest
The position includes time in both our State College and Spring Mills locations
Collaboration with fellow NVCC physicians, as well as external referral partners (MDs, PTs, PAs), is essential
NVCC provides an annual allowance for high-level, evidence-based continuing education
