I am seeking a chiropractor to provide Maternity locum coverage for a well-established, family-focused practice with a busy patient base of 150+ patient visits per week. I am hoping for 4+ months but am open to availability.
Schedule
The current schedule is Monday–Thursday, consisting of 6 shifts per week (3 mornings and 3 evenings), totaling approximately 25–26 hours per week. Monday and Thursday are split shifts.
Monday: 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM & 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Tuesday: 2:00 PM – 6:45 PM
Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Thursday: 8:00 AM – 11:15 AM & 2:00 PM – 6:45 PM
Hours can be adjusted if needed for the right candidate.
Practice Style
The practice focuses primarily on family wellness care, including:
Infants and children
Prenatal patients
Postpartum patients
Techniques utilized include:
Diversified adjusting
Activator (spring-loaded instrument)
Drop-piece techniques
Chiropractic BioPhysics® (CBP) corrective care
Formal training or certification in these techniques is not required. Training and support will be provided to ensure a smooth transition and confidence in delivering care within the practice style.
Patient Flow & Visit Structure
This is a high-volume practice with efficient systems in place. Appointment times typically range from 5–10 minutes for the chiropractic visit itself, depending on patient needs and visit type.
Many patients also complete prescribed traction, rehabilitation exercises, and corrective care protocols as part of their treatment plan. As a result, while the doctor's face-to-face time is generally 5–10 minutes, patients often spend 15–25 minutes total in the clinic.
Our chiropractic assistant helps facilitate patient flow, ensuring appointments run smoothly and efficiently throughout the day.
Diagnostic & Clinical Systems
We routinely refer patients for X-rays when clinically indicated and utilize the PostureRay® digital X-ray analysis system to review and educate patients on their imaging findings and structural changes. Training on both our X-ray review process and PostureRay software will be provided.
We also use ATLAS EMR, and training will be provided to ensure you are comfortable with our documentation and workflow systems.
