Summary Job Summary The University of Colorado, Boulder's Health and Wellness Services team is accepting applications for a Temporary Chiropractor! This position will deliver comprehensive services in accordance with the Chiropractor Practice Act, delivering examinations, evaluations, diagnoses, and treatments aligned with the highest standards of chiropractic care. The provider will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to support the health and wellness of students. This position is based in a college health center’s Orthopedic and Integrative Care Department, serving the student population. The role emphasizes integrative, patient-centered care in a collaborative environment. The schedule for this position will be Mondays and Thursdays from 8:00am - 5:00pm. The anticipated length of this appointment will be for the Spring semester, ending May 2, 2026. The Medical Clinic provides a wide range of health care services for students including: primary care for illnesses and injuries, as well as chronic conditions, physicals, sexually transmitted infection testing and treatment, allergy shots, vaccinations, travel health care, and concussion care. Scope Of Practice What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be Conduct thorough patient examinations and evaluations. Develop and implement chiropractic treatment plans. Perform manual adjustments and other therapeutic interventions. Provide patient education on musculoskeletal health and preventative care. Collaborate with medical and integrative care colleagues to ensure integrated treatment approaches. Patient Care Perform chiropractic evaluations and treatments. Educate patients on present condition(s) and teach preventative aspects of self-care to facilitate and maintain a higher level of wellness. Complete accurate and timely EHR documentation and charges for all patient interactions. Communicate / collaborate with other health care providers (internal and external). Aim to incorporate clinical expertise, patient values, and current best evidence into daily clinical practice. Administration, Projects, Outreach When assigned, attend, and participate in the following: Attend OIC department and Medical Services (MS) meetings and committee activities. Participate in diversity events and programs. Engage in peer reviews of colleagues and quality improvement activities. Participate in MS committee activities as assigned. Understand the working operations of MS and the Health and Well-Being division of CU Boulder. Participate in policy and procedure developing, drafting, editing, and revising as assigned. Additional Duties Attend and actively participate in departmental and organizational meetings. Assist with ancillary projects and outreach events to promote integrative health services. Contribute to the mission of the department by fostering a supportive and inclusive care environment. What You Should Know The Chiropractor provider will hold a temporary appointment for the Spring Semester to assess student and staff demand for services, with the potential to transition into a more permanent role based on demonstrated need. Workdays: Mondays and Thursdays Hours of Operation: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (aligned with Medical Services’ standard hours) Calendar: Schedule will follow the official university academic calendar, including holidays and breaks Length of appointment: Appointment is anticipated to last through the spring semester with a break during the summer; to resume in the Fall semester potentially as a permanent University Staff position This arrangement provides consistent availability twice per week while allowing flexibility for future expansion should demand warrant a permanent position. Eligible for clinical privileges as determined by the MS Credentialing and Privileging Department. What We Can Offer The pay range for this position is $52.88 - $58.00 per hour. What We Require Graduate from accredited Chiropractic program. Chiropractic license with State of Colorado by the date of hire. Minimum of 1 year experience as a licensed Chiropractor. BLS Certificate within 3 months of hire. What You Will Need Basic functional computer skills (experience with Windows based systems). Proven communication, customer service and problem-solving skills. What We Would Like You To Have Previous EHR experience and proven skills for treating a college-aged population.
