Associate Chiropractor – Functional Neurology Focus

Job Description

Benefits: Competitive salary Dental insurance Employee discounts Free uniforms Paid time off Training & development Vision insurance Wellness resources This isn't a high-volume adjusting job. No cookie-cutter protocols. No burning through patients just to hit numbers. At The Dearing Clinic, we are a neuro-metabolic restoration practice where advanced diagnostics meet hands-on clinical precision. Our patients come to us after being told their labs are "normal" while still feeling terrible — dealing with chronic pain, chronic fatigue, brain fog, post-concussion syndrome, autonomic dysfunction, and complex neurological presentations that conventional medicine couldn't solve. They need a team that understands how the brain, metabolism, gut, and musculoskeletal system work together. That's where you come in. What You Will Be Doing You will conduct thorough neuro-orthopedic evaluations, design individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with our medical team on cases involving peptide therapy, IV ozone, HBOT, EWOT, VO2 max testing, and neurofeedback. You'll have the time and space to think, assess, and treat properly — because clinical excellence is the standard here, not volume. At the core of this role is the understanding that pain, dysfunction, and poor movement don't exist in isolation. Chronic pain is rarely just a structural problem — it's a nervous system problem, a movement problem, a compensation pattern problem. You'll be working at the intersection of manual therapy, functional rehabilitation, and neurology, helping patients rebuild how their bodies move, load, and recover. That means assessing faulty movement patterns, identifying neuromuscular compensations, and designing progressive rehab programs that retrain the system from the ground up — not just treating the symptom, but addressing the underlying drivers. Your scope includes comprehensive neuro-orthopedic assessment, precision manual therapy tailored to each patient's neurological and musculoskeletal presentation, functional rehabilitation oversight including corrective exercise, neuromuscular re-education, vestibular rehab, and motor control retraining — all integrated with collaborative case management alongside Dr. Dearing and our broader medical team. Who We Are Looking For The ideal candidate holds a Doctor of Chiropractic degree and either has their DACNB, is actively pursuing it, or has completed advanced functional neurology coursework with a clear commitment to continued training. A deep understanding of neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, and how the musculoskeletal and nervous systems drive both dysfunction and recovery is essential — along with strong neuro-orthopedic assessment skills and real experience designing and supervising functional rehab programs. Comfort with complex presentations is a must: chronic pain, post-concussion, POTS, dystonia, post-stroke. Skilled in multiple adjusting techniques with the clinical discernment to choose the right approach for each patient (Diversified, SOT-Craniosacral, drop-table, instrument-assisted) — adaptability matters more than allegiance to one system. Beyond credentials, this role calls for someone detail-oriented who notices what others miss — a systems thinker who understands that a movement problem is rarely just a movement problem. That cervical dysfunction can drive autonomic dysregulation. That proprioceptive deficits contribute to central sensitization. That chronic pain patients need a neurologically informed approach, not just another adjustment. Intellectual curiosity, clinical humility, and a collaborative nature are non-negotiables at The Dearing Clinic. This position is best suited for a clinician who is not jaded, not arrogant, and not just passing through — but someone looking for a long-term clinical home where they can do the best work of their career. What We Offer Competitive base salary with a production-based bonus structure, dental and vision insurance, supplemental health plans, life insurance, a continuing education budget, support for DACNB certification if not yet obtained, and relocation assistance for the right candidate. You'll have access to advanced diagnostics including qEEG, PNOE metabolic testing, and HRV analysis, along with direct mentorship from Dr. Justin Dearing and a clear pathway to senior clinical roles and potential long-term partnership as the practice grows.
