OverviewI am looking for a Chiropractor to cover my practice in a locum capacity for 1-3 months (June-August) while I am off on maternity leave. There is a potential to stay on more long term as an associate if it is a good fit. The ideal candidate is trained and experienced in the Webster technique and caring for patients during pregnancy, pediatric and postpartum periods. The successful candidate will provide exceptional patient care, utilizing their expertise in chiropractic techniques to improve patients' health and wellbeing. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives through effective pain management and holistic treatment approaches. The position requires a licensed professional committed to ongoing patient education and wellness promotion. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations Develop personalized treatment plans aimed at alleviating pain and improving mobility Perform chiropractic adjustments and other manual therapy techniques with precision and care Educate patients on exercise and lifestyle modifications to support long-term health Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment protocols as necessary Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care Experience Valid chiropractic license and certification in accordance with Ontario regulations Proven experience in patient care, with a focus on pregnancy, pediatric and postpartum care Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and motivate patients Prior experience in a clinical setting is preferred Commitment to providing compassionate, ethical, and evidence-based care Job Type: Part-time Pay: $30.00-$120.00 per hour Expected hours: 8 – 15 per week Work Location: In person
