Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical conditions using detailed knowledge of physiology and anatomy. Develop and implement tailored care plans that address individual needs and goals across multiple settings such as hospitals, clinics, outpatient centers, and home health. Deliver physiotherapy treatments including manual therapy techniques like trigger point therapy, therapeutic exercises, and mobility training. Coordinate discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions from hospital to home or community care environments. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes through effective communication and integrated care strategies. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and ensure compliance with healthcare standards. Educate patients and caregivers on injury prevention, treatment plans, and home exercise programs to promote ongoing recovery and wellness. Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy or an equivalent qualification recognized by relevant licensing authorities. Valid licensure or registration as a licensed Physiotherapist in the applicable region. Proven experience in acute care settings, inpatient wards, outpatient clinics or home & community care environments. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and physiotherapy techniques including trigger point therapy. Demonstrated ability to develop comprehensive care plans for diverse populations such as pediatrics and geriatrics. Experience with EMR systems for documentation and patient management. Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to treatment delivery. Familiarity with discharge planning processes and working within hospital or home health settings is highly desirable.
