Job Description The role primarily involves providing high-quality chiropractic care, with opportunities to engage in research activities contingent upon successful grant acquisition and salary coverage. The position requires appropriate training in medicine as provided in the state licensing requirements, and licensure as a Chiropractor in the State of Florida. The typical duties of this position involve providing direct medical services to clients in appropriate settings. However, this position may also be responsible for conducting workshops and seminars, and may participate in clinical programs, curriculum development and academic program management. Responsibilities CLINICAL - 100% Deliver evidence-based chiropractic care in multidisciplinary clinical setting, collaborate with neurosurgery, sports medicine, and rehabilitation teams to support integrative spine and concussion care, participate in interdisciplinary case reviews and contribute to patient-centered treatment planning, and engage with USF Athletics to support athlete health and recovery. Responsible to a Chair or other appropriate higher-level administrator of a State university. Responsible for teaching, research, service, and related administrative activities. Responsible for academic advising and related activities. May represent the university, college/school, or department. Qualifications Master's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate field of specialization or equivalent qualifications based on professional experience and otherwise qualified to perform assigned duties. Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Instructor. Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree from an accredited institution. This position requires licensure to practice Chiropractic medicine in accordance with Chapter 460, Florida Statutes.
