Chiropractor

Job Description

Location: San Diego, CA (Wellness by Pilates Collective)
Position Type: Part-Time / Full-Time Independent Contractor

About Us
Wellness by Pilates Collective is a boutique wellness facility where clinical expertise meets
functional movement and advanced recovery. We believe that Movement is Medicine. Our
beautifully designed, intimate studio integrates elite Pilates instruction with cutting-edge
recovery modalitiesβ€”including specialized red light therapy, contrast therapy (sauna and cold
plunge), and PEMF.

We are expanding our team to include a passionate, forward-thinking Chiropractor who wants
to work in a collaborative, community-focused environment that prioritizes personalized,
high-touch client care over high-volume turnover.

Position Overview
We are looking for a licensed Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) who treats the body as an integrated
system. In this role, you will provide customized, evidence-based chiropractic care while
seamlessly collaborating with our team of elite Pilates instructors and wellness professionals.
Instead of traditional high-volume practices, your focus will be on deep, comprehensive care
that complements functional movement, active rehabilitation, and advanced cellular recovery.
This is a unique opportunity to build or bring your practice into a beautiful, cross-referral
ecosystem with an existing, highly motivated, health-conscious client base.

Key Responsibilities
● Comprehensive Patient Care: Perform thorough initial assessments, diagnostic
evaluations, and functional movement screenings to design tailored, evidence-based
treatment plans.
● Integrated Treatments: Deliver high-quality chiropractic adjustments, soft-tissue
mobilization, and corrective exercise recommendations that align with active movement
therapies.
● Collaborative Care Routing: Work dynamically alongside our Pilates instructors and
recovery specialists to co-manage client wellness journeys, bridging the gap between
passive alignment and active core stabilization.
● Education-First Approach: Educate clients on posture, biomechanics, and how to utilize
our passive recovery suite (contrast therapy, infrared, PEMF) to enhance their clinical
outcomes.
● Accurate Documentation: Maintain pristine, timely soap notes and electronic health
records in compliance with California state regulations.

Qualifications & Skills
● Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree from an accredited chiropractic college.
● Active, unrestricted license to practice in the state of California.
● Current malpractice insurance coverage.
● Functional Philosophy: A strong foundation in functional biomechanics, soft-tissue
modalities (e.g., ART, Graston), or sports rehabilitation. Experience or an understanding of
how Pilates builds core stability is a major plus.
● Exceptional Communication: A warm, empathetic, and communicative professional
style that thrives in a community-centric, collaborative team environment.
● Entrepreneurial Mindset: Motivated to actively engage with our community, participate
in in-studio wellness events, and co-market services to grow a thriving caseload.

What We Offer
● A stunning, modern, boutique workspace inside an established wellness community.
● Built-in cross-referral pipeline from an established, highly engaged community of Pilates
and wellness clients.
● Access to state-of-the-art recovery tools to incorporate into your client care protocols.
● Flexible scheduling and autonomy over your practice style.
● Marketing support via our active digital platforms, newsletters, and exclusive community
events.
