Part-Time Chiropractor – Established Patient Base Avala Wellness | Brampton, ONPart-Time / Independent ContractorApproximately 4–5 hours per weekIn Person About Avala Wellness Avala Wellness is a busy, established multidisciplinary rehabilitation and wellness clinic serving the Brampton community since 2017. Our clinic provides chiropractic care, physiotherapy, massage therapy, acupuncture, and other rehabilitation and wellness services. We have an established patient base, experienced administrative support, and a collaborative environment that encourages appropriate cross-referrals between practitioners. We are currently looking for a licensed Chiropractor to take over an established chiropractic schedule and provide continuity of care to our existing and growing patient base. This is an excellent opportunity for a chiropractor looking to add a productive 4–5 hour weekly block to their existing schedule, or for a practitioner interested in growing within an established multidisciplinary clinic without having to build a practice entirely from scratch. The Opportunity We are looking for more than simply shift coverage. The successful chiropractor will take ownership of the chiropractic caseload during their scheduled hours, maintain continuity of care for existing patients, and develop strong relationships with new patients coming into the clinic. Avala Wellness is a busy clinic, and the successful candidate should be comfortable working efficiently and managing high patient throughput during a fully booked shift, while maintaining appropriate clinical standards, documentation, patient experience, and quality of care. The initial commitment is approximately 4–5 hours per week, with the potential to expand hours as the caseload grows. Responsibilities Assess patients and develop appropriate, individualized treatment plans Diagnose and manage musculoskeletal conditions within the chiropractic scope of practice Provide chiropractic adjustments, manual therapy, and other appropriate treatment techniques Provide therapeutic exercise, mobility, and rehabilitation recommendations where appropriate Educate patients regarding movement, posture, body mechanics, injury prevention, and management of chronic conditions Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans when clinically necessary Manage both new patient assessments and ongoing follow-up care Maintain accurate, complete, and timely patient records and clinical documentation Work efficiently within a busy clinic and comfortably manage high patient throughput when required Collaborate with physiotherapists, massage therapists, acupuncturists, and other healthcare professionals to support comprehensive patient care Identify and facilitate appropriate internal referrals when patients may benefit from another service within the clinic Assess and recommend supportive products where clinically appropriate, including custom orthotics, compression products, braces, and other rehabilitation products Complete appropriate prescriptions, assessments, and supporting clinical documentation for products when required Follow all applicable professional, regulatory, and insurance requirements related to patient care, billing, documentation, and product dispensing Qualifications & Professional Requirements Doctor of Chiropractic degree from a recognized institution Registered and in good standing with the College of Chiropractors of Ontario Appropriate professional liability/malpractice insurance Eligible and in good standing to provide chiropractic services under applicable extended health and third-party insurance plans Able to maintain all registrations, credentials, and professional requirements necessary to practise chiropractic in Ontario Comfortable completing appropriate documentation required for insured services and products Strong understanding of professional and regulatory requirements related to chiropractic care, documentation, and billing Please note: Applications from individuals who are not appropriately licensed to practise chiropractic in Ontario will not be considered. Experience working with extended health benefits, insurance documentation, orthotics, and other supportive products is considered an asset. Skills & Attributes We are looking for a chiropractor who has: Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics Strong assessment, diagnostic, and clinical reasoning skills Ability to develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs Strong chiropractic adjustment and manual therapy skills Ability to work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of patient care Comfort working with high patient throughput during busy clinic hours Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong patient education and relationship-building skills Good clinical documentation habits Ability to work independently while also contributing to a multidisciplinary team A collaborative mindset and willingness to appropriately cross-refer patients Comfort assessing, recommending, and facilitating clinically appropriate orthotics, braces, compression products, and other supportive products Reliability and the ability to consistently maintain the agreed weekly schedule An interest in maintaining and growing a long-term chiropractic caseload within the clinic Language Proficiency - ENGLISH (Fluent) , HINDI (Conversational proficiency) Both experienced chiropractors and motivated newer graduates are welcome to apply. Previous experience working in a busy multidisciplinary clinic or managing an established caseload would be considered an asset. Additional hours may become available based on patient demand and mutual interest. Compensation Competitive compensation based on experience and agreed structure. The final compensation structure will be discussed during the interview process and will depend on experience, clinical background, and the mutually agreed arrangement.
