Founding Clinical Director – Chiropractor (DC), Autism & Neurodevelopmental Integrative Care

Job Description

About NeuroRoot: NeuroRoot helps families of children with autism and other neurodevelopmental conditions look into the biological factors that may be contributing to their child’s symptoms. We combine functional lab testing, education, and individualized consulting across six areas: cerebral folate deficiency, mitochondrial function, gut health, heavy metals, methylation, and neuroinflammation. We’re an early-stage company building a global platform and serving families worldwide. Families order functional labs through our site, and our clinical team helps them understand the results and decide on next steps. For US families, a collaborating physician partner handles all prescribing. The role: We’re looking for our founding Clinical Director: a Doctor of Chiropractic with deep functional and pediatric experience who will lead the clinical side of NeuroRoot as we grow. This is a 100% telehealth role, so you can work from anywhere. It’s a ground-floor position for someone who wants to help build a company, not just fill appointments. What you’ll do: Hold telehealth consultations with families worldwide, reviewing functional lab results and developing individualized nutrition, supplement, and lifestyle plans Interpret organic acids (OAT), comprehensive stool and GI panels (e.g., GI-MAP), heavy metals, and mold/mycotoxin testing Guide families through cerebral folate deficiency workups and folinic acid protocols Coordinate with our MD partner on cases that may need prescription treatment (e.g., antimicrobial or antifungal therapy) Shape NeuroRoot’s clinical protocols, parent education content, and practitioner standards Help build the clinical team as we grow What we’re looking for: Active Doctor of Chiropractic license. Licensure in multiple states is a strong plus. MAPS (Medical Academy of Pediatrics and Special Needs) training, or a commitment to complete it Strong gut health background: dysbiosis, GI panel interpretation, and gut-brain connection protocols Hands-on experience with functional lab interpretation, ideally with neurodivergent children Familiarity with cerebral folate deficiency, folinic acid, mitochondrial support, and methylation Comfortable doing telehealth and explaining complex findings clearly to parents An entrepreneurial mindset. You want to help build something, not just practice within it. A commitment to evidence-informed care and clear, honest communication with families Nice to have: Chiropractic neurology (DACNB) or clinical nutrition credentials (DACBN, CCN, IFMCP) Experience building or growing a practice Interest in research, content creation, or practitioner education Compensation: $100 per completed consultation (paid per session, not hourly) Equity participation after an initial working period, with vesting 100% remote with a flexible schedule, and a path to a larger leadership role as the company grows To apply Send a message or apply here with a short note about your experience with neurodevelopmental cases and functional testing. MAPS-trained practitioners, please mention it.
