Summary Of Position The chiropractor will provide care for patients with health problems of the neuro-musculoskeletal system, which includes nerves, bones, muscles, ligaments, and tendons. She/he will use spinal adjustments, manipulation, and other techniques to manage patients’ health concerns, such as back and neck pain. Essential Job Functions Provides consultations, exams, and treatment plans for chiropractic visits. Educates patients on the benefits of regular chiropractic maintenance. Assesses a patient’s medical condition by reviewing their medical history, listening to the patient’s concerns, and performing a physical examination. Performs medical examinations with focus on the patient’s posture and spinal condition. Analyzes the patient’s posture, spin, and reflexes. Diagnoses any health problems by reviewing patient’s medical history and information provided during observational questions and examination.
