General Summary: A Doctor of Chiropractic (Chiropractors) must work as a clinical leader of the rehabilitation team to provider physical medicine and rehabilitation services under the clinical direction and supervision of the Medical Director of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. A Chiropractor interprets prescriptions from physicians and/or non-physician providers, evaluates patients, and develops individualized plans of care and goals for patients based on findings from the evaluations. A Chiropractor also initiates treatments according to the plans of care, obtains data related to the interventions provided, makes modifications in selected interventions either to progress the patient/client or to ensure patient/client safety and comfort, and documents in a timely and accurate manner the treatments given to patients, including collecting frequent subjective data and objective measurements and correlating them to the established goals in the plan of care.
